Chant, dance, and celebrate community with talented local musicians and
special guests from the global chanting community.
At House of Bliss Kirtan, we share the healing power of mantra music in the spirit of peace and love for local and global harmony. The practice of kirtan is a great healing tool. In the true spirit of bhakti devotion, musicians offer a richness of both traditional and modern kirtan from various lineages, for everyone to chant mantra medicine together, and sink deep into silence between chants. The House Band welcomes different special guest and support musicians each time. Some say that this is the best regular kirtan gathering in the area, and perhaps even the best in Australia.
This gathering was started in 2013 by kirtan leader Sangeeta Lavin. It is now run by musicians and organisers who are based locally, as a non-profit volunteer-run community group who welcome people from all walks of life. Get in touch to join the Bliss Team as a volunteer and help create these events. Or just come along and enjoy the bliss of the chanting.
