A Coalition staffer has been immediately fired after alleged pictures of him and a group of political colleagues performing solo sex acts in a female MPs office were revealed. The Australian newspaper reports the group of four Senior Coalition staffers shared images amongst themselves for a two-year period on Facebook including videos of lewd conduct on the desks of unaware female politicians. The images were provided by a whistleblower who separately alleges several incidents of consensual sex occurred between staff and MPs in Parliament's Meditation Room. One Senior staffer was identified and immediately sacked within two hours of the story breaking and Government Senate Leader Simon Birmingham is calling on others involved to resign. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has condemned the incident saying “the reports are disgusting and sickening. It's not good enough and is totally unacceptable”. “The actions of these individuals show a staggering disrespect for the people who work in Parliament and for the ideals the Parliament is supposed to represent.” Mr Morrison said his government had identified the staff member at the centre of the allegations and terminated his employment. The revelations come as Sex Discrimination Commissioner Kate Jenkins leads a review into Canberra's Culture in the wake of the alleged rape of former Liberal Staffer Brittany Higgins.
