The Northern Star has not had a re design since 2007 so it is long overdue.
The fresh look reflects the latest trends in newspaper design with shorter sharper presentation of stories with more elements than ever before.
The new layout will invite greater connectivity with our readers with more entry points to stories with greater use of fact boxes, pull quotes, and break out boxes pointing to information online.
The Northern Star is launching several new sections, columns and pages here are just a few –
