Zarraffa's drive-through coffee

ZARRAFFA'S Coffee will open its 52nd store, and its first Sunshine Coast drive-through coffee shop, next Monday.

The new store, at the old Red Rooster site at 28 Aerodrome Rd in Maroochydore, is owned by Terry and Jeanette Bambury.

Mr Bambury has run the Sunshine Plaza outlet for the past nine years, and the Morayfield store for the last six years.

"We are excited to open the drive-through store and provide quality, accessible coffee to the Sunshine Coast, including the many businesses on Aerodrome Rd and both our local residents and holiday visitors," he said.

"It's very much a family business with our three children working with us over the years and we look forward to forging close ties to the community in Maroochydore and surrounds."

The new store will provide jobs for around 15-20 locals and the 160sq m site will offer both drive-through and dine-in facilities.

Zarraffa's CEO Kenton Campbell said the drive-through model was reaping results in other regions around the state and the Sunshine Coast was a logical progression.

"The drive-through model has proven to be popular with our customers and I am excited for the Sunshine Coast to experience it," he said. "The location, combined with the expertise of Terry and Jeanette, is sure to win over locals and commuters alike."
