Youth worker had sex with boy

A MIDDLE-AGED Northern Rivers youth worker remains on bail after pleading guilty to having sex with a 15-year-old boy in Lismore while he was under the care of the partially-government funded organisation she was employed by.

The married mother, 49, pleaded guilty in Lismore Local Court last week to two counts of having sexual intercourse with the boy.

Defence barrister Megan Cusack asked for an adjournment of the matter because a psychiatric/psychological report was not yet available.

She said her client had been treated for depression.
