Your Story: End of 2015 honoured by Kyogle Quota

KYOGLE Quota Club Members celebrated ahead of Christmas and toasted to a wonderful 2015 at Rhonda Watt's home a fortnight ago.

Members exchanged gifts, enjoyed a lovely meal and fascinated each other's company.

Quota members will be out and about again, after the holidays, catering for Australia Day Celebrations in the Kyogle Memorial Hall.

Members have had a busy year with various fundraising activities: Lamington drives, raffles, St Patrick's night dinner - that was a night of fun and laughter!

And let's not forget the Annual Friendship Dinner: The highlight of our night was the presentation of the "Quota Ladies of the Year".

Kyogle Memorial Hosp - emergency toiletry gifts, Mother's Day Gifts, given to the patients in the Kyogle Hospital, the Aged Care Unit and the Whiddom Home for the Aged, Care Bears Program - toys are given to Children using the Ambulance Service. Street Stall and Raffle - at the "Billycart Bonanza", Pink Luncheon - donations given to the Lismore Base Hospital Oncology Unit, catered for Alzheimer's Luncheon and presented a considerable donation to Alzheimer's Australia NSW, Seniors Spring Affair Luncheon - providing a free luncheon and entertainment for the Senior Citizens of the Kyogle area, which is an excellent service to our Community.

Community Service Award - presented at the Kyogle High School, Year 10, end of year assembly. Australia Day Awards - catered for the luncheon.

Other donations were given to - Aust Diabetes Council, Australian Red Cross, Deaf Society of NSW and Deaf Camp, which was held at Bonville, Epilepsy ACT Australia, SCIC - Cochlear Implant, Q. I. South Pacific Scholarship, Quota International Service. - Pampanga, Q. I. W. J. Joiner Fund " We Share", "Look Good, Feel Better", Kyogle High School -"Love BitesProgram", Northern Star Newspaper for Residents of the Whiddom Home for the Aged, "Our House" - Lismore, and The Heart Foundation.

Donations of approximately $10,500 were given out during the year.
