Your story: Come and play Rugby League.

DO YOU have children who are mad keen footy kids?

Are they keen to get out and play the game?

There will be an information and strategy meeting next Thursday 10th December, 5.15pm to be held up in Jims Hall at Stan Payne Oval

This meeting is to discuss how we can get our Junior Club Base back into full swing.

Our Senior Bombers committee, coaches, trainers etc have worked hard leading up to the 2015 season to pull together a strong under 18s side, which allowed us to once again field 3 very competitive teams. This coming 2016 season, once again we are looking forward to another super successful year with our 18s, Reserves and First Grade teams. To ensure this will continue, we need our foundations to grow and this comes from our Junior Club

Your kids are learning the base skills for League through their Touch Football games on Thursdays. Why not expand this into league!?

To make this happen, we need people to run this club. Jeremy Bryant has done a fantastic job over I don’t know how many years. He is stepping aside and needs a fresh committee to take this club forward.

We, the senior committee, will be there to assist and guide but we are heavily committed with the management of the Senior bombers to take on the committee roles required within the Junior club.

I walk around the fields and watch the kids play touch on a Thursday afternoon and see so many kids with fantastic footy skills. Who knows, there could be a future NRL player within them

I look forward to seeing you all at the meeting. We would love some suggestions on growing the club
