Young girl burnt in campfire incident

A TEENAGE girl was transported to Mackay Base Hospital after sustaining burns from a campfire incident.

A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said the incident occurred at 11.10pm Saturday at Macartney Dr in Marian.

He said the patient sustained burns to her legs, hands and face, but was transported by paramedics to hospital in a stable condition.
