YOUNG X Factor heartthrobs Taylor Henderson and Jai Waetford will be coming to Lismore as part of the Regional Pop Up Concert Tour.

After dropping into Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour, the tour series will hit Lismore on Sunday, September 28.

The tour brings with it some of the rising talent of Australian music, who will treat local audiences and to a free, community, live music event.

Coming to perform at the mini concert in Lismore will be Henderson and Waetford, both previously featured on the talent search TV show The X Factor.

Audiences are encouraged to bring their own picnic chairs - to sit directly in front of stage or on the green surrounds, enjoy the free entertainment on offer, and have their chance to meet and greet the two stars.

Corresponding with the tour, Lismore's own talent quest, the Fast Track Talent Showcase, will also happen that weekend, featuring some of the best up-and-coming music and dance acts from the local area.

The contestants will battle it out on the Friday and Saturday nights, with the winner and runner-up also being invited to perform at the pop up gig on the Sunday.

Henderson and Waetford both shot to fame after coming in second and third, respectively, in the 2013 series of The X Factor.

Henderson has recently released his second album Burnt Letters, while Waetford has just released his second EP Get to Know You.

Both will be having meet-and-greet sessions at the event after their performances.

Popular local act the Horace Bevan Band will also perform at the event and will start off proceedings at 10am. The Regional Pop Up Concert Tour will see music events like this one popping up throughout regional areas all over NSW and Victoria, and bringing a range of stars to interact with local audiences and fellow performers.

The tour is brought to Lismore by Mobile Stage Truck, Sony Music, and the Lismore City Council.

The Regional Pop Up Concert Tour hits the Northern Rivers Conservatorium, Magellan St, Lismore on Sunday, September 28 from 10am-2pm.
