Works of Mercy

During this Year of Mercy, students from St Brigid’s Primary School Kyogle are going out into the community to do ‘Works of Mercy’ by helping and spending time with others. This week, the students in Year 1 and 2, visited the residents in the Kyogle Parish units.
The students had a great time. They swept, washed down outdoor furniture and did some gardening!
Their help was greatly appreciated with the residents loving their visit and inviting the children to come back again!
Residents of Kyogle need to be on the lookout for more ‘Works of Mercy’ as the other classes at St. Brigid’s are busy planning what they will be up to in the next few weeks.
