Work on new service station to impact Pacific Hwy traffic

HEADING north on the Pacific Highway tomorrow?

Roads and Maritime Services has advised motorists that there will be changed traffic conditions in place on the highway near Chinderah.

Work will be carried out on the northbound off ramp at Tweed Valley Way to facilitate access to the new highway service centre.

One northbound lane will be closed for about 350m south of the off ramp for the safety of workers and motorists.

Work will be from 7am to 6pm on weekdays and is expected to take four months to complete, weather permitting.

Road users should adhere to reduced speed limits, follow the direction of traffic control and allow extra travel time.
