Women hospitalised after serious crash

A WOMAN has been flown to Lismore Base Hospital after a serious crash near Tabulam.

The woman, aged 50, was trapped in a car for half an hour after two vehicles collided at the intersection of the Bruxner Highway and the Clarence Way, east of Tabulam late this morning.

A spokesman for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter said the woman suffered chest and neck pain and a possible fractured knee in the crash.

Two other people from the other car were taken to hospital by road ambulance. Details of their conditions was not known. There were no fatalities.
