Woman assaulted, forced into vehicle in Mackay

POLICE are hunting a man who was allegedly seen assaulting a woman before forcing her into a vehicle in Mackay on Sunday afternoon.

Police are appealing for public help to locate the driver of a Toyota Landcruiser vehicle, similar to the one above.

At around 3:15pm the driver of the vehicle was allegedly seen attacking the woman before forcing her into the vehicle on Glenella Richmond Road in Glenella.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a man aged in his late 40s, approximately 183cm tall, of muscular build with an olive complexion, short dark hair and long sideburns.

The woman is described as aged in her early 40s, approximately 152cm tall, of slim build with an olive complexion and very long straight black hair.

The vehicle is described as a white or cream Toyota Landcruiser ute with Queensland registration beginning with 550 or 556.
