Victorian colt Extreme Choice will join an elite group if he can take out the $3.5 million Golden Slipper - the world's richest two-year-old race - at Rosehill tomorrow.

Only five horses have saluted in the Slipper after winning the Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield, with Sepoy the last to achieve the feat in 2011.

Plenty have tried and failed, including Samaready and Earthquake in recent years. Both ran placings in the Slipper after their triumphs in Melbourne.

Extreme Choice has been compared to Sepoy by a number of racing experts, and although Sepoy did lose his first start in Sydney after the Blue Diamond, he bounced back to take out the Slipper in dominant style.

Extreme Choice does not have the luxury of a run the clockwise way, and if he doesn't perform at close to the level he produced to win the Blue Diamond then he won't be able to win the Golden Slipper.

Outside of Extreme Choice there are a host of winning chances, including stablemate Flying Artie, one-time favourite Capitalist, Astern, Kiss And Make Up and Good Standing, while the $31 available for Yankee Rose is big overs.

The Golden Slipper is set to be an outstanding betting race and it is the perfect opportunity to try out the new Ladbrokes Odds Boost betting function.

Odds Boost allows Ladbrokes customers to select any runner in any race and increase their potential winnings with the simple click of a button.

This product is available on the Golden Slipper, Ranvet Stakes, George Ryder Stakes, The Galaxy and Rosehill Guineas this weekend, as well as any other thoroughbred, greyhound or harness racing event!
