Wildcats tear through the Crocs

THE Perth Wildcats guaranteed second spot on the iiNet NBL Championship ladder with a thumping 101-66 win over the Townsville Crocodiles at Challenge Stadium on Friday night.

While Kevin Lisch (19 points) and Luke Nevill (14) out-scored Wildcats co-captain Shawn Redhage, it was the six-time club MVP's night as he brought up his 4000th point with the Cats with one of his trademark floaters.

He finished with 13 points along with Jesse Wagstaff, while Damian Martin shut down Eddie Gill and collected 11 points and six rebounds himself.

Peter Crawford had 19 points (4-of-8 three-pointers) for Townsville after a sensational 14-point first quarter.

Youngster Todd Blanchfield scored 18 points (3-of-6 triples) to be the only other Croc in double figures.
