White whale Migaloo spotted as he heads north

MIGALOO, one of the world's rarest whales has been spotted just off the South Coast, in one of the first sightings of the whale season.

The male humpback, was photographed by a whale watcher off Green Cape in Eden yesterday morning, as the famous whale heads north for the season.

Miagaloo, who is often seen off Byron Bay during the last week of June, was once thought to be the only all-white whale in the world.
