UPDATE THURSDAY: WE asked our readers to tell us where their favourite place to get breakfast in the Northern Rivers was, and by golly, they answered.
Now we have a list of all the places suggested - 20 different cafes and eateries around the region - which needs to be narrowed down to a Top 10.
We've put together a poll, which will be open until noon tomorrow (Friday) to let you decide the Top 10 places for breakky in the Northern Rivers.

INITIAL REPORT: WHERE is the best place to get breakfast on the Northern Rivers? That's the question we're putting to you.
We've put the call out on Facebook, but you can also comment below, telling us where you like to start the day and what your favourite dish from that place is.
From this we plan to create a Top 10 Places for Breakfast on the Northern Rivers list - but we need your help to do it.
One of our staff loves the spicy lentils and egg from Expressohead in Byron Bay, and anything involving the bread at The Farm, while another enjoys the Mecca's breakfast specials in Lismore.

Mavis Meadowcroft said her favourite breakfasts are from Harvest Cafe at Newrybar.
"I just keep working my way through the menu and specials," she said.
Emma Tiatia said Orio in Alstonvile was "hands down the best brekky spot in the region" while Natasha Garred said she was fond of the Mecca.
Tracey McCarroll said she was partial to the Belle General at East Ballina and loved their iced teas.
Jo Corbett, however, said if you wanted "awesome, fresh, healthy food" head to Evans to Betsy at Evans Head.
