Coast surfer Ryan Ginns a hit with the Big Brother ladies

SUNSHINE Coast surfer Ryan Ginns appears to be a hit with the ladies in the Big Brother house.

Whether it's kissing Katie in the hot tub on Sunday or bonding with Cat, the 26-year-old knows how to get along with the opposite sex.

He has previously credited his way with women to growing up with his three sisters in Mooloolaba.

Ryan was even cuddling up to new housemate Kelly, a primped poodle, on the reality show last night.

Poodles Ned and Kelly bounded into the Big Brother house yesterday, much to the surprise of the 16 human housemates, who have been living in isolation from the wider world for a week and a half now.

Three-year-old miniature poodle Ned and six-month-old standard poodle Kelly are from the Animal Welfare League Queensland's Gold Coast rehoming centre.

"They are very sweet dogs and are sure to bring out the very best in the housemates," the League's communications manager Brooke Whitney said.

Tomorrow's first eviction nominations will reveal if Ryan is well-liked in the house and if his new partnership with paralympian Sam is seen as a threat by the other teams.

The show's first live eviction will take place on Tuesday.
