Wetland Care day at North Lismore

THIS year as part of World Wetlands Day celebrations WetlandCare Australia, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Ngulingah Local Aboriginal Land Council and Banyam Baigham Landcare are holding an event at Slaters Creek in North Lismore.

All ages are welcome and activities range from planting works, walks and talks, to kids crafts and activities.

WetlandCare Australia would like to invite you along to enjoy a fun filled day.

Come on your own and meet new people or join in with family and friends.

Activities on the day will include plantings, talks and walks, craft, and a BBQ from Lismore City Lions Club.

World Wetlands Day celebrations at Slaters Creek, Pine Street North Lismore on Sunday January 31, 9am till 1pm.

Bring plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, sturdy shoes and don't forget your camera!
