Were these unsafe toys in your Christmas shopping trolley?

POOL noodles being sold in a Murwillumbah store were among the list of unsafe offerings on the NSW Fair Trading Christmas Product Safety Survey 2015.

This year's survey saw NSW Fair Trading inspect 773 businesses across the state.

Toys inspected included those designed for children under 36 months, projectile toys and aquatic toys. 83 toys were found to be non-compliant and have been removed from shelves in the lead-up to Christmas.

Gift-givers have been urged to check the toys identified and avoid giving them as gifts to children.
