'Well respected' man dies at Ballina tent park
POLICE have confirmed a man died at a popular tent park near East Ballina today.
Paramedics and police rushed to the Flat Rock Tent Park at about 9am this morning.
The man's age is unknown and police aren't treating the death as suspicious.
Ballina Shire Council's manager of commercial services, Paul Tsikleas, said the man and his family holidayed regularly at the park.
Mr Tsikleas described the man as "well respected and well-liked" and expressed his condolences for the family during this sad time.
Flowers have been set down at the site where the man and his family were camping.
