WEATHER: Slight chance of rain today
TODAY may be a day to wear short sleeves but take a warm jacket just in case.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted a partly cloudy day with areas of morning fog.
There is only a slight chance of a shower with light winds.
Daytime maximum temperatures will be in the mid to high 20s.
The weather we have been experiencing has been caused by a strong and slow-moving high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge across New South Wales.
This ridge is expected to gradually weaken over the next few days as the high moves further east.
A weak low-level trough will linger over southwest and central New South Wales during Friday and Saturday, before a cold front is forecast to cross the state during Sunday and Monday.
