Water supply to be cut to Ballina residents today

THE water supply will be interrupted to a number of streets on Ballina Island today, as Ballina Shire Council undertakes water network upgrades.

The interruptions will take place between 9am and 3pm.

Work is required to install boundary valves and is part of Ballina Shire Council's Pressure Leakage Management Plan which will reduce water loss in the water network.

Households and businesses located in the following streets will have their water supply interrupted  during this time:

  • Carrington Street
  • Crane Street
  • Diamond Lane
  • Hackett Lane

  • Fox Street East End
  • Namitjira Place
  • Owen Street
  • Norton Street
  • Swift Street
  • Swift lane
  • Young Lane
