Science award offers $22,000 prize for agricultural projects

IF YOU are aged between 18 and 35 and you are an active researcher, innovator or scientist in the agriculture sector, apply for the 2016 Science and Innovation Awards before applications close on Friday.

There are 11 industry specific award categories, with each award valued up to $22,000 to fund your project.

The categories include:

  1. biosecurity;
  2. cotton;
  3. dairy;
  4. fisheries and aquaculture;
  5. grains;
  6. established, new and emerging rural industries;
  7. pork;
  8. red meat processing;
  9. viticulture and oenology;
  10. meat and livestock; and
  11. wool

Applications close at 5pm, Friday October 9.
