A HIGH school football player in Austin, Texas has gone viral by giving perhaps the most enthuasiastic post-game description ever seen.

Apollos Hester, the running back for the East View Patriots, will now be put into the "interview hall-of-fame" after he spoke to reporter Lauren Mickler on the weekend.

In his enthralling speech, he discusses starting slow to finish fast, to follow your dreams, to pick yourself up when times are hard and to feel the love of those around you.

It's a mindset

"You can do anything you put your mind to, never give up on your dreams, keep smiling, no matter what you're going through, if you fall down just get up. If you can't get up, your friends are there to help you up, your momma is there, your daddy is there, God is there, I am there to help you up.

"It's going to be OK, just keep smiling."
