Warwick win for Ben Tapp in Melbourne Cup of drafting

WARWICk rider Ben Tapp has ridden Acres of Roses to a one-point win in the top campdraft in the nation.

He won with 269 on a horse owned by Peter Mutch, of Warwick, in the Pryde's EasiFeed Warwick Gold Cup which attracted more than 800 nominations. 

He beat Steve Comiskey of Capella on Delta, who scored 268.

It was Tapp's second cup win in four years.
