Waratahs make Coraki pay

A DEPLETED Coraki were no match for an in-form Waratahs outfit, losing 8-1 in JH Williams Premier League men’s hockey.

In other games, Mitch Harley scored all the goals in Alstonville’s 5-1 win over Ballina and Northern Star accounted for United 4-0.

Coraki were without Simon, Trent and David Brown along with Cory Thomas – and Waratahs capitalised.

Waratahs are in great form and their game was like clockwork.

Dwayne Newell scored four goals, with James Walker and Tim Willis providing solid support.

Ben Ward tried hard as Coraki’s best player and goalkeeper Jordan Ryan made several great saves. Lachlan Scotcher also went well.
