Want to lose eight demerit points this Easter?

IF you make the decision to illegally use your mobile phone while driving this Easter long weekend, you're taking a big risk.

You'll now lose eight demerit points if you're caught illegally using your mobile phone - That's over half your licence.

The NSW Police force have reminded motorists to be safe this long weekend on their Facebook page.

They posted yesterday about the "Let them wait, don't risk the eight" campaign in an effort to curb illegal use of mobile phones while driving.
