The Voice Stars in Lennox Head this Australia Day
NORTHERN Rivers' siblings Gabriel and Cecilia Brandolini, famous from TV talent competition, The Voice, will be part of the entertainment in Ballina Shire this Australia Day.
Fresh from their recent successes, the duo will be performing a selection of acoustic songs at the Ballina Shire Australia Day Ceremony on Monday January 26 in Lennox Head.
Gabriel and Cecilia are inspired singer songwriters with a wealth of musical talent who have rocketed to stardom after their recent appearances on The Voice.
The Brandolini siblings first picked up instruments at around 6 years of age and are now proficient in playing the piano, bass, ukulele, guitar and viola.
At just 16 (Cecilia) and 21 (Gabriel), the duo possess a keen music awareness beyond their years.
They are musical story tellers with intelligent compositions, imaginative and quirky arrangements and a natural love of the beauty of music.
When performing Gabriel and Cecilia make an immediate impact drawing the audience in with their soulful and seamlessly layered vocals.
Gabriel and Cecilia's style is accessible to all ages and their success continues to soar with shows booked around the country, major media attention, a rapidly growing fan base and more albums to come.
The official Australia Day ceremony, to commence at 9am inside the Lennox Head Cultural and Community Centre, will include various elements commemorating this Australia Day.
A full program is planned, including raising of the Australian flag by the TS Lismore Navy Cadets accompanied by the Ballina Pipe Band, Welcome to Country by a local Aboriginal elder, Daniel Kapeen Didgeridoo performance, special address by Leigh Sales, new citizens' ceremony, announcement of Australia Day Awards, and special performances from the Headliners Chorus and the Brandolini duo.

Council will be providing a free bus service to the ceremony.
Departing the Ballina Visitor Information Centre at 8.15am and returning from the Lennox Head Cultural and Community Centre at 12.15pm.
