Vision of better, more efficient and more vibrant libraries

RICHMOND Valley libraries are turning to the public to help them plan for the future of library services with a vision of better, more efficient and more vibrant libraries.

A survey has been released asking the community to provide feedback on usage of borrowing and delivery, access to online services and preferences for events hosted by the libraries.

Regional library manager Gary Ellem hoped current, past and future library users would take a few moments of their time to visit the library website to complete the survey.

"The survey is important to ensure the relevance of our libraries, now and in the future," he said.

"We realise modern libraries are now so much more than book depositories and look forward to bringing our services forward to meet the needs of our community."

The survey can be accessed at www.richmondvalley.nsw.gov.au.
