Village without petrol

THE VILLAGE of Evans Head is without a petrol station once again, but it's only temporary, according to owner Doug Behn.

"I have to do some work on the petrol tanks and bowsers," he said.

"It should be open again in a month's time.

"I apologise to everyone for the inconvenience while the petrol station is closed."

The business has been on the market for some time and Mr Behn said he has had some inquiries.

"There are a few people in the pipeline who have shown some interest in buying the place," he said.
