Vanessa from the Northern Rivers, Vivid queen of Sydney
BALLINA-based gender illusionist Vanessa Wagner, aka Tobin Saunders, is set to deliver a rare public performance as part of the Vivid Sydney festival.
The show, Vanessa Wagner’s Cosy Nook, follows in the footsteps of Vanessa’s 2015 Vivid Cosy Nook performance.
It’s described as an intimate evening of sophisticated and eclectic music, dancing, art, visuals, networking, chatting and “general showing off”.
Vanessa will create the aural and visual landscape as hostess and DJ complemented by main DJ Ben Drayton.
Vivid Sydney is a three-week winter lighting festival that sees Australia’s largest city immersed in outdoor light installations and projections.
Founded in 2009, the festival includes a bright array of performances from local and international musicians as well as forums for creative think tanks.
Vanessa was crowned Sydney Mardi Gras Miss Fair Day 1993 and has also co-hosted the parade telecasts on Channel Ten.
