Uplifting faces and places catch the eye of photographer

NORTHERN Star photographer Marc Stapelberg on his best images of 2014:

"While the world has been dominated by tragic and intense events this year, our local region has had both drama and fun.

"I have chosen some of the more memorable and uplifting pictures from the year.

"These include things like Norpa's fantastic stage shows, which allow the region access some of the best theatre and acts in Australia; our showground, which is home to many different events and provides a staple of entertainment throughout the year, as well as our very own TAFE Fashion Show."
