FOUR missing people reports have made by local police in just over six months.
Christa Crewe: this week
Mrs Crewe was last seen about 2.30pm Tuesday, April 12, after leaving her house in Lismore. She is believed to be in a maroon coloured Honda CRV registration CE31UY.
John Spiers: November 23, 2015
Mr Spiers was last seen at the Sheep Station Creek camping area in the Border Ranges National Park late on Sunday, November 22 last year. Mr Spiers walked off from his vehicle, which was parked in the camping area and he has not been seen since.
Ellen Wilson: November 2, 2015
Barry McLellan, October 7, 2015
Mr McLellan was reported missing in early October and was last seen in the Lismore on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. On October 24 it was reported he had made contact with his family, but his Missing Person status was renewed on November 5. Local police had concerns for the welfare of the 60-year-old.
According to the NSW Police Missing Persons Unit:
35,000 people go missing every year
99.5% are located and 85% are located within a week of being reported missing
Young people account for more than half of the people who are reported missing.
