Two to stand trial over drug trade

TWO people police allege were involved in the commercial supply of the drug ice have been commited to stand trial in the District Court.

When police pulled over a car at Ballina on August 3, they allegedly found 500g of the drug in the car along with Phounakhone Keomalavong and Taylor Dibbs.

Today Magistrate R Denes commited the pair to stand trial in the Lismore District court on December 12.

Ms Denes extended Dibbs bail, while Keomalavong remains in custody.
