Two Siberian Huskies have been stolen in 48 hours

TWO Siberian Huskies have been stolen within 48 hours across the Northern Rivers prompting police to appeal for information from the public.

"On Saturday January 30, Ava, a six-month-old female husky was stolen from the front yard of her Kyogle residence and now we have been informed a second husky was taken from a Casino address," Richmond LAC posted on its Facebook page.

"Thor, a three-year-old male husky was taken from the yard of a Lennox Street address between the hours of 4am and 9am on Monday morning.

"Just like Ava's yard, Thor's yard was fully secure.

"These two dogs are much loved family members."
