Two hospitalised after crash

TWO MEN were taken to Lismore Base Hospital this afternoon following a single vehicle crash at Shannon Brook just south of Casino.

Emergency services rushed to Shannon Brook Road about 2.15pm after reports of a high-speed roll-over.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a 51-year-old man who was trapped in the vehicle for almost an hour was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition with spinal, shoulder and hip injuries.

A 49-year-old man who was also in the vehicle was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition with a shoulder injury and neck pain.

Police are calling for any witnesses to the smash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
