Two fire crews work to contain North Coast blaze

RURAL Fire Services crews are at the scene of a grass fire at Myocum Rd, Ewingsdale.

Byron Bay and Newrybar crews rushed to the blaze, which started in an open paddock, at around 12.04pm.

It took about an hour for crews to have the fire under control.

An RFS spokesperson said the blaze was accidentally lit with crews now finalising the containment of the fire.
