Two ambulance officers attacked
Two ambulance officers have been attacked and their ambulance rammed during a call-out in Melbourne.
The paramedics were reportedly attacked by three people about 6.30pm on Thursday.
The attackers then got into a car and rammed the ambulance before speeding away.
Police arrested a 15-year-old boy about 1pm yesterday, but did not release any details.
Reports indicated the paramedics were attacked while trying to help an elderly man, with one ambulance officer hospitalised for a broken foot and cuts and bruises. He underwent surgery yesterday.
The second officer was struck on the head but did not need medical attention.
