Truckie in hospital after roll-over

A TRUCKIE was taken to hospital last night after his b-double rolled over on the Pacific Highway at Ballina.

At 9pm, a 32-year-old male driver rolled his truck at the Teven Road interchange, underneath the overpass.

He was taken to Ballina District Hospital with a shoulder injury, a NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said.

It is understood the truck was carrying carpet in its containers.

It is the second truck accident on the same stretch of road in a week.

Last Monday, a b-double overturned about 50 metres south of the same roundabout.

The driver was uninjured and the road was closed for several hours.
