Truck salvage operation slowed up by wet weather

WORK to salvage a truck that had rolled into a paddock yesterday morning is still ongoing due to wet weather.

A Transport Management Centre spokesperson said alternate traffic conditions are currently in place.

"What was meant to happen overnight didn't due to the weather so it will have to be completed today," she said.

"Yesterday was spent unloading the truck and now they need to upright it."

Traffic queues are currently with northbound traffic backed to Everson's Lane and southbound to past Walsh's Lane.

"Continuous rain is slowing them down and they started late but it is fulls team ahead," the spokesperson said.
