Trio's field day

THREE girls from Byron Bay Public School collected 17 first-place ribbons between them during the Interschool Equestrian Challenge at Grafton from October 18 to 20.

One of the highlights for the Byron Bay girls was Tia Gotterson's win in the junior dressage on the first day.

Summer Chaseling went on to claim the champion junior girl in her riding class on the second day.

All three girls won their pony height class on the second day and Belle Edwards finished first in all her sporting events on the final day of competition.

It was an amazing effort from the three girls considering there were almost 300 horses and riders competing from about 40 schools.
