Training to help young North Coast netball players

TALENTED young FNC netball players can stake their claim for places with one of the region's leading training schemes.

The North Coast Academy of Sport is accepting entries for its 2013 netball program.

Successful applicants will enjoy a number of intensive training sessions aimed at developing their skills.

They will enjoy access to top-class coaching opportunities and gain valuable match experience.

It is hoped the program will also help promising players improve their abilities and further their careers in the sport.

Players must be turning 15-18 in 2013 to take part in the program.

They must be a registered member of a FNC netball association and reside in either the north coast or FNC area.

Trials will take place on Sunday, May 12 at the Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (noon-4pm).

Interested players must also submit an application form to NCAS by 5pm on Monday, May 6.

For more information, visit www.ncas.org.au or call Candi Boggs on 6620 3073.
