Traffic queued for 3.5km at Woodburn, allow extra time

UPDATE: MOTORISTS are advised to allow an extra 35 minutes travel time with queues in the northbound lanes of the Pacific Highway at Woodburn now 3.5km and at Macksville 8km long.

The Pacific Highway is full of holiday makers hitting the road after celebrating Christmas Day.

Some workers will also be returning to work tomorrow.

 

UPDATE: THE Transport Management Centre have advised that the southbound traffic on the Pacific Highway at Ewingsdale is now queued around 1km, adding an extra 5 minutes travel time.

However, the northbound traffic on the Pacific Highway approaching Woodburn is now queued 4km adding 30 minutes in extra travel time.

 

INITIAL: MOTORISTS are being warned of heavy traffic across the state, including some traffic on the north coast.

The Transport Management Centre has advised that southbound traffic on the Pacific Highway at Ewingsdale is queued around 4km, adding an extra 20 minutes travel time.

Northbound traffic on the Pacific Highway approaching Woodburn is also queued 1.5km adding 10 minutes in extra travel time.
