Traffic conditions change at Tintenbar

The RTA is advising motorists of changed traffic conditions at Tintenbar at the intersection of the old Pacific Highway, now called Tamarind Drive, and Old Bangalow Road. The changes are part of the Ballina bypass Pacific Highway upgrade project.

Work to repair the northbound shoulder of Tamarind Drive next to Emigrant Creek, which was damaged by recent flooding, will be carried out from Monday 11 July for about three weeks.

Access to properties located on Old Bangalow Road will be maintained. Traffic may be stopped for brief periods and minor delays may occur.

All work is weather permitting and bad weather may change work dates and times.

The RTA asks motorists to drive carefully through roadwork sites and follow instructions from traffic controllers and signs.
