Top places to see and things to do in Lismore

WE asked our readers where in Lismore they would take out-of-towners and while many suggested "go to another town" there were also some tips on things to do here.

Rebecca Lee said she always takes visitors to waterfalls and markets.

"Minyon Falls, Whian Whian Falls, Rocky Creek Dam, any of the fantastic markets we have all over our beautiful region of which Lismore is the heart," she said.

Leanna Hatfield and Lisa Thomas both suggested the Car Boot Market held at Lismore Square, while several others suggested pizza from Barry's Mega Pizza.

Putt Putt and skating

Check online for Roller Skating times throughout the week. Mini Golf open on weekends from 10am until late during the school term.

 

Regional Museum

Explore the history of our region, from local Aboriginal culture to European settlement and industry and shipping.

 

Memorial Baths

If you feel like a swim, the heated pools cater for competition or leisure swimmers as well as young kids with the toddler's pool.
