Top opera tunes promised
THE most popular characters and tunes from the best operas ever arranged will meet on a gentle afternoon at The Channon on July 27.
Opera at The Channon chairperson Gae Ferris confirmed the list of songs to be performed by Opera Australia singers on the day.
The songs and singers will be:
Largo al Factotum (The Barber of Seville) sang by Michael Honeyman
Una voce poco fa (The Barber of Seville) sang by Margaret Plummer
Dunque io son (The Barber of Seville) in a duo by Michael Honeyman and Margaret Plummer
Che gelida manina (La Boheme) by Martin Buckingham
Si, mi chiamano mimi (La Boheme) by singer Natalie Arroyan
O Soave fanciulla (La Boheme) sang by Natalie Aroyan and Martin Buckingham
After an interval, the list of songs continues:
Toreadors Song (Carmen) interpreted by Michael Honeyman
Seguidilla (Carmen) by Margaret Plummer
Michaela's Aria (Carmen) sang by Natalie Aroyan
Pourquoi me Reveiller (Werther) by Martin Buckingham
Charlotte's Aria (Werther) sang by Margaret Plummer
Pearl Fishers Duet (Pearl Fishers) in a duo by Martin Buckingham and Michael Honeyman.

Opera at the Channon will be held at Coronation Park, The Channon, with gates opening from 11am.
