Super Hero for a day
CHILDREN and adults are invited to meet at the Lismore Regional Gallery and join with Peggy Popart for a Super Tour of the exhibition Superheroes and Monsters, by local artist Nathan Gooley.
After the tour, the super pack will fly out to Spinks Park to play superhero themed games, art activities and have a picnic.
There will be a dress up box and music for singing and a dance along to your favourite super songs as we play superhero and monster statues.
At 131 Molesworth St, Lismore, this Saturday from 10.30am to 1.30pm.

SOME of the top riders from northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland will be competing at the Alstonville Rodeo on Saturday.
The gates open at 11am for a noon start, with the open bull riding to be held from 4pm.
The rodeo will run into the evening with entertainment for the whole family.
Tickets are $20 for an adult and $40 for a family.

Proving to be a comedy hotbed of new and up-and-comers, the bill is full of comedy wannabes, keen to try their hand at the dark art of stand-up.
Comedian Mandy Nolan will host this month's open mic. Home Crafted Comedy at the The Byron Brewery is on the third Thursday of every month from 8pm.
DINOSAUR Jr returns to Byron Bay, touring off the back of their new album, Give A Glimpse of What Yer Not.
The band was founded by J Mascis (guitar, vocals), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals), and Murph (drums).
The new release is their first since 2012 and their fourth since the band's reformation in 2005.
