Calexico at Byron Bay
CALEXICO has been mixing musical styles and cultural perspectives since the mid-1990s.
They fuse the dusty sounds of the American Southwest with spaghetti western soundtracks, Mexican mariachi themes, vintage surf music, cool jazz and a broad spectrum of Latin influences.

Tatts hosts Live Poets
LISMORE'S Live Poets will hold the first feature writers' show for 2016 with two Yamba poets, Roxanne Williams and Hayley Talbot.
The show will also include open and invited readings with new poets.

Sautov solo tour
VIOLIN virtuoso Attilla Sautov returns from an inspiring tour of Italy to present an intimate solo concert in Ballina.
This will be Sautov's first unaccompanied violin tour. The Uzbekistan-born musician will perform solo works by Paganini and Bach.
At St Mary's Anglican Church, 38-42 Norton St, Ballina, this Sunday from 3pm. $30.
