1. Casino's 125th Annual Show

THIS year will be bigger than ever as the show celebrates a huge milestone.

Get on down for to the showgrounds today for all the traditional events like beef cattle and poultry judging, equestrian, champion show dog, and the main pavilion.

Saturday is a "free gate" day for all patrons, except for donating a gold coin to charity.

 

2. Brookfarm Byron Lighthouse Run Walk

THE annual fun run along the coastline, offering a 10km run and a 6.7km walk.

Locally supporting the Lismore Base Hospital, internationally supporting Kenyan sexual abuse support group Rafiki Mwema, which is run by locals from Lennox Head.

Sunday, beginning at Denning Park. Registration opens at 6am. Event starts at 7am.

3. Tuntable Falls Preschool and School Fete and Open Day

COME and help the Tuntable Valley community celebrate their 42nd birthday!

Enjoy homemade cakes, woodfired oven pizzas, pakoras, salads and live music.

4. Blue Moon Cabaret at Nimbin

THE School of Arts has been producing a series of hugely popular Blue Moon Cabarets for over 20 years, with a diverse array of the performance arts.

October's cabaret features Bella Fontes, Khan and Ted, Willie McElroy, Diana Anaid and Laura Nobel together with dance ensembles, poets Christine Strelan and Robin 'Archie' Archibold, stand up comedian Fiona McGary and more.

5. Northern Rivers Auto Spectacular

PRESENTED by the Northern Rivers Ford Owners Club, the Northern Rivers Auto Spectacular is in its fifth year and has established its status of being one of the biggest auto shows in the Northern Rivers.

With over 130 vehicles on display, the line up includes motorbikes, trucks, utes and old machinery.

It is a fun day for all ages, featuring markets and a jumping castle for the entire family to enjoy.

Sunday. Gates open 6am for entrants, 9am for public.
